Amanda Righetti

Amanda Elizabeth Righetti is an American actress and producer. She is best known for playing CBS police procedural show "The Mentalist"'s special agent Grace Van Pelt. Righetti was raised in Utah and always wanted to sing. Her first dance lessons began at the age of four. In 1995 she made her major screen debut by starring in the movie 'Love and Happiness'. In CSI: Crime Scene Investigation it was her first appearance on TV as a CBS guest on. Righetti began her modeling career at the age of fourteen. Her move into Los Angeles four years later and continued playing small but notable roles until she was spotted in the recurring role Hailey Nichol on Fox's teen-drama "The O.C. '. Righetti has also played important roles in the slasher movie "Friday the 13th," the action film Captain America: The First Avenger' the Fox soap opera "North Shore", and the drama series "Reunion'. From 2008 to 2015, she portrayed Grace Van Pelt in 'The Mentalist'. The film received the praise of critics in her role.
